Common questions
Do buyers pay a subscription?
No. Buyers pay once per dataset and own it. There are no membership fees or recurring charges.
What formats are supported?
We accept COCO JSON, YOLO, Pascal VOC, LabelMe, KITTI (computer vision), CSV, Parquet, JSON (tabular/NLP), and audio formats (WAV, MP3 with transcriptions).
How does the quality check work?
Every dataset goes through an 8-point automated validation: format integrity, label completeness, class balance, duplicate detection, image quality, metadata accuracy, license verification, and a PII scan. Datasets that pass receive a verified badge and quality score.
Can I sell data I collected myself?
Yes — as long as you own the rights or have explicit permission to resell it. You confirm ownership during upload and accept our Seller Terms. We remove any reported infringements immediately.
When do sellers get paid?
Payouts are processed automatically via Stripe. Funds are available in your seller dashboard after a standard Stripe holding period (typically 2–7 days depending on your country).
What license do buyers receive?
Buyers receive a commercial license to use the dataset for AI/ML training. Redistribution or resale of the raw dataset is not permitted. Sellers can specify additional license terms on their listing page.
